Growing up, Dr. Watson was inspired to become a dentist after seeing his uncle thrive in the field. He was drawn to the idea of helping people improve both their health and self-esteem through dentistry. Today, he finds joy in helping patients who have experienced dental trauma or fear rediscover their confidence. Education & Training
A Georgia native, Dr. Watson earned his undergraduate degree in microbiology from the University of Georgia before attending the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, he was selected for a prestigious residency at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, one of the nation’s top hospital-based programs.
During his residency, he developed advanced skills in all aspects of general dentistry while focusing on oral surgery and dental implant placement. His dedication to excellence earned him the Most Outstanding Resident Award in 2003. Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Watson has completed more than 2,000 hours of continuing education through leading institutions such as the Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, FL, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation in Seattle, WA.

Life Outside The Office
Dr. Watson is married to his colleague and fellow Atlanta West Dentistry dentist, Dr. Cameron B. Watson. Together, they live in Marietta with their two children, Baker and Vivian. Outside the office, he enjoys Georgia football, running, golfing, tennis, and playing the banjo. His hobbies and family life keep him grounded and reflect the same warmth and balance he brings to his work each day.
