Meet The Team

Teodora was born in Eastern Europe but spent her childhood in South Africa and Atlanta.  She has called Atlanta home since 1996. Teodora has been in healthcare and dental operations management for over 20 years. Teodora received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management degree from Georgia State University and has had the pleasure of working with many different specialty and general dentistry practices over the course of her career. She joined Atlanta West Dentistry in January 2023 and is honored to be part of this dynamic team.  She is passionate about helping all patients reach their dental goals and empowering dental professionals to rise to the next level. 

Teodora lives in Cobb County with her husband David, who is an attorney, and son Evan.  She is a travel baseball mom for a lot of her spare time.  She also enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family.

Robin has been the manager at Atlanta West for over 30 years and recently decided to turn over the reins. Robin is still with the practice under a new position because she is getting “old and tired.” This is where she has made her dental home since 1986. Robin’s life has been truly blessed by this family, and she is so happy to be a part of this dynamic dental team.

Robin has been married to the love of her life, “BB,” since 1974 and has two wonderful children. Her son, Jacob, works in property management, and her daughter, Anna Blake, has chosen the dental field and works for a practice in Florida. In her spare time, Robin enjoys riding motorcycles with her husband and spending time with her children.

Katie was born in Dallas, GA. After 10 years of working with breast cancer patients, she made a career change to dentistry and has fallen in love with it. What she loves most about her job is connecting with patients and seeing the transformation in patients with their new smiles. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and her three dogs, Ruger, Remi, and Lucy.

Lauren was born and raised in Marietta, GA. She is a double dawg, having obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Georgia. She has always been surrounded by positive influences in the dental field and plans to matriculate into dental school in 2025. As a long-time patient and now an employee at Atlanta West, Lauren has always been a witness to elite levels of care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, trying new restaurants, baking, and shopping. 

Odalis’ love for dentistry began with her own dental experience as a child, inspiring her to help others achieve confident, healthy smiles. Odalis finds great satisfaction in building relationships with patients and being part of their transformative smile journeys. Outside of work, she loves traveling with her husband and their baby boy, Luca. Exploring the world through Luca’s eyes has been her most rewarding adventure. She also enjoys unwinding with yearly reruns of Gilmore Girls and Friends—her favorite comfort shows!

Abbie graduated from The Ohio State University in 2007. She has over 10 years of dental experience and has been with Atlanta West since 2015. Abbie’s favorite thing about being a hygienist is getting to know her patients and making them feel as comfortable as possible, even if the dental office isn’t their favorite place.

Abbie married her wonderful husband, Joey, in 2016, and together they have a crazy Doberman named Max. Outside Atlanta West Dentistry, Abbie enjoys working out, reading, going to the beach, and traveling back to Ohio to visit family and friends.

Brooke’s dental hygiene career began in 2003. She received her Registered Dental Hygienist degree from West Georgia Technical College. She joined Atlanta West Dentistry in 2013 and quickly came to realize how much this group of professionals truly loves what they do and has a tremendous respect for patients. She is excited to work here and looks forward to being a part of the growth of this great practice. Brooke is a Soft Tissue and Oral Maintenance Care Specialist. Her ability to perform dental hygiene with a gentle touch is unmatched. Brooke has also received special training with the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and the Sam Low Education Foundation.

Brooke lives in Marietta, and she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Alexis, as well as physical fitness and traveling. Brooke looks forward to meeting you and providing you with a wonderful dental hygiene experience!

Lisa has been a proud member of the Atlanta West team since 2002. She graduated with honors and her dental hygiene degree in 2006 from Columbus State University. In 2020, she became the first-ever Best Hygienist in Cobb award winner out of the over 400 hygienists in Cobb County. She is proud to provide excellent care to our dental patients as well as work with a stellar dental team. She truly enjoys working at Atlanta West Dentistry and appreciates the high level of trust between the patients, doctors, and staff, which allows the team to provide excellent dentistry in a very comfortable environment. Lisa is specially trained in the latest science of customizing your periodontal care to the way you individually respond to therapy. Her training includes Perio Protect Society and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. Lisa has AHA, CPR, and First Aid response certification.

Lisa has been married to her husband, Donny, since 1999, and they have two very fun and active boys, Jacob and Bradley.

With a passion for providing exceptional care, Samantha is known for being professional, personal, caring, and understanding. Originally from Ohio, Samantha attended the University of Cincinnati. Furthering her education, Samantha attended dental hygiene school at Fortis College, where she honed her skills and received comprehensive training in all aspects of dental hygiene. Samantha is well-equipped to provide thorough dental cleanings and exams, as well as, the skill to educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices. 

Outside of Atlanta West Dentistry, Sam has a zest for life where she stays active and enjoys activities such as running, cycling, hiking, and playing tennis. Samantha loves spending her time with her husband, Kurt, and her two energetic labradors Archie and Gryffin.

Megan grew up in Southwest Georgia and moved to the Metro Atlanta area in 2015. She received her dental hygiene degree from Albany State University (formerly Darton College) in 2010. What Megan enjoys most about being a hygienist is the relationships she gets to make with patients everyday by getting to know them personally and by working closely with them on their oral health. She strives to provide excellent care to patients and holds herself to a high standard.

Megan married her wonderful husband, Sean, in 2017. They have a beautiful daughter named Mabry and a sassy Scottish Terrier named Piper. Outside of being a hygienist, Megan enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and traveling.

After completing her 17-year dental assistant career, Crystal pursued her passion for advancing in the dental field and graduated in 2021 from Fortis College with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. Outside of the office, Crystal enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Jeff, and their two sons, Toby and Aaron. The family loves outdoor activities, including camping, hunting, and fishing, where they make lasting memories together in nature. Crystal is dedicated to promoting oral health and creating a positive, comfortable experience for each of her patients. Her goal is to help everyone achieve and maintain a healthy, beautiful smile for years to come.

Jennifer is originally from Akron, Ohio but was raised in Cobb County. During her time at Kennesaw State University, she found Dentistry, fell in love, and decided to change career paths to become a Dental Assistant. She loves working hand in hand with the doctors during procedures to give our patients the smoothest appointments possible. Changing a patient’s self confidence through their smile will never get old-its the best part of the job! In her spare time, she and her boyfriend, Corey, love going to local breweries and trying new local restaurants on the weekends and spending free time with her nieces and nephew any chance she can get.

Originally from The Bahamas, she moved to the US in 2021 graduating from Osborne High School that same year. In 2022, she began her journey in dentistry when she enrolled in the Accelerated Academy to become a dental assistant. After completing the program, she was hired at Atlanta West Dentistry as a sterilization tech but after a year, was asked to be a dental assistant. While she is the youngest employee, Veronica's dedication and commitment to the field are evident in the ways she interacts with patients and her co-workers. In her free time, Veronica likes trying new food, cooking, spending quality time with family, and finding fun outdoor activities like hiking and zip lining.

Nicole has been a dental assistant since 1994. She loves what she does. Right out of high school, she had the opportunity to be introduced into a field where she could meet new people and make a difference in someone’s life by helping them change their smile. She’s excited to work with Dr. Watson and Dr. Cameron, who provide the highest quality of care for their patients. She considers herself fortunate to have become a member of this elite team of dental professionals. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time traveling with her husband and family. She has a passion for cooking and reading.

Roger was born in Phoenix AZ, raised in Chicago, Pittsburgh, Reno, Las Vegas, and settled down in Logandale, GA. He graduated from UNR & UNLV in psychology. Roger has gone on to complete several CE courses to further his Dental Assisting certifications. His favorite part about working in the dental field is interacting with patients and staff. In his spare time, he enjoys fly fishing, cooking, and playing chess & PC games. Roger has been married for 29 years with 4 beautiful children.

De'Nee grew up in Cedartown GA. Since she was young, she has always had an interest in teeth/oral health. In 2012 she graduated with honors from the Dental Assisting program at Georgia Northwestern Technical College. In 2016 she enlisted in the Georgia Army National Guard as a 88M (Motor Transport Operator).  She received an Army Achievement Medal and a Georgia Commendation Medal.

One of her greatest joys being a dental assistant at AWD is seeing a patient smile with self confidence after helping them through their treatment.  In her spare time she likes to watch football/baseball, sing karaoke, go kayaking, ride her motorcycle, and go on road trips/travel with her Fiancé Dusty and their fur baby Mitsy.

Kya’s father was in the Army so as a child she lived in many places such as Germany, Texas, South Carolina, and Georgia. While at OTC, she received her diploma in Dental Assisting and certificates in expanded function. What she loves most about her job is meeting new people, partnering with new procedures, and her teammates. She has been an assistant for 16 years and loves dentistry. When she is not working, she loves singing in the car, reading romance novels, and spending time with her friends and family.

Jay is a dedicated dental assistant with six years of experience, spanning all aspects of dentistry, including leadership roles and continuing education. While initially pursuing an art career, Jay discovered a true passion for dentistry and has since channeled his creativity and commitment into the field. Jay enjoys long walks, exploring new music, and discovering unique coffee spots outside of work. Coming from a family of ministers, Jay has a natural ability to care for others, making it his mission to help people become the best versions of themselves.

Jasmine, a native of Mableton, Georgia, began her journey to dentistry in 2024 when she enrolled in the Accelerated Academy dental assisting program. After finishing at the top of her class, Jasmine was hired by Atlanta West as a sterilization technician. Outside of work, Jasmine enjoys going out to eat, visiting her nieces and nephews, and traveling. Jasmine enjoys being a part of such a dynamic team of professionals where she can learn about the ever-growing field of dentistry. Although this is just the beginning, she looks forward to furthering her career in dentistry by one day becoming a hygienist.
