Meet The Team

Teodora, originally from Eastern Europe, has lived in Atlanta since 1996. With over 20 years in dental operations, she is passionate about helping patients and empowering dental professionals. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Robin has been with AWD since 1986, managing for over 30 years before recently transitioning leadership. She is grateful to be part of the team and enjoys contributing to its success. Robin has been married to her husband, “BB,” since 1974, and they have two children

Born in Dallas, GA, Katie switched from working with breast cancer patients to dentistry six years ago, a field she now loves. She enjoys spending time with her family and three dogs: Ruger, Remi, and Lucy.

Lauren, from Marietta, GA, earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Georgia. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive dental care for all patients.

Inspired by her own childhood dental experiences, Odalis is passionate about helping others achieve healthy, confident smiles. She enjoys building patient relationships and traveling with her husband and baby boy.

Abbie, a graduate of The Ohio State University, has been with Atlanta West since 2015. She loves getting to know her patients and making them feel comfortable. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.

Brooke, a dental hygienist since 2003, joined AWD in 2013. She specializes in Soft Tissue and Oral Maintenance Care and has additional training from the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and the Sam Low Education Foundation. She enjoys fitness, traveling, and spending time with her daughter.

Lisa has been part of the Atlanta West team since 2002 and graduated with honors from Columbus State University in 2006. In 2020, she became the first-ever Best Hygienist in Cobb award winner out of the over 400 hygienists in Cobb County. Lisa enjoys time with her husband and two boys.

Originally from Ohio, Samantha attended the University of Cincinnati and later earned her dental hygiene degree at Fortis College. She loves spending time with her husband and their two labradors, Archie and Gryffin.

Megan, originally from Southwest Georgia, moved to Metro Atlanta in 2015. She earned her dental hygiene degree from Albany State University in 2010. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Crystal, after 17 years as a dental assistant, graduated in 2021 with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Fortis College. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons.

Jen Originally from Akron, Ohio, Jen grew up in Cobb County. She enjoys working alongside doctors to ensure smooth patient appointments. In her spare time, she and her husband love visiting local breweries, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family.

Veronica, originally from The Bahamas, moved to the US in 2021 and graduated from Osborne High School. She completed the Accelerated Academy dental assisting program in 2022 and joined Atlanta West Dentistry. In her free time, she loves trying new foods, cooking, and spending time with family.

Nicole has been a dental assistant since 1994 and feels lucky to be part of this elite team. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her family, cooking, and reading.

Born in Phoenix and raised across several cities, Roger graduated in psychology from UNR & UNLV. He loves interacting with patients and staff in the dental field. In his free time, he enjoys fly fishing, cooking, playing chess, and PC games. Roger has been married for 30+ years and has four children.

De'Nee, a Cedartown, GA native, graduated from Georgia Northwestern Technical College in 2012. She served in the Georgia Army National Guard and received several honors. In her spare time, she enjoys watching sports, karaoke, and spending time outdoors with her fiancé and their dog, Mitsy.

Kya, raised in various locations due to her father’s military service, received her diploma in Dental Assisting from OTC and has 16 years of experience. Outside of work, she loves singing in the car, reading romance novels, and spending time with family and friends.

Jay is a skilled dental assistant who enjoys long walks, exploring new music, and discovering coffee spots. Coming from a family of ministers, he is passionate about caring for others and helping them become the best versions of themselves.

Jasmine, from Mableton, GA, began her dental journey in 2024 after completing the Accelerated Academy dental assisting program and joining AWD. Outside of work, she enjoys eating out, visiting her nieces and nephews, and traveling.
