You’re excited, and you should be.
You just got a new job, and you are moving to Marietta, GA, a great community near Atlanta. As you’re getting ready to start this next chapter of your life, you also know you need to take care of yourself.
You know it’s important to maintain your oral health. This gives you an affordable way to get the preventive care you need.
Don’t Ignore Your Mouth
We don’t have to tell you the importance of preventive care.
It’s the reason you change the oil in your car or truck and rotate the tires regularly. Doing that is a lot less expensive than letting your engine overheat and have to replace it.
Likewise, it’s a lot less expensive to get regular dental checkups and cleanings than it is to replace teeth that have fallen out of your mouth. (It’s less painful too, for what it’s worth.)
Yet, many people make their automotive care a bigger priority than their oral health … until it’s too late, and they have a tooth infection or have lost a few teeth.
The thing is, oral health problems can open the door for bigger issues as well. People with gum disease are more likely to have heart attacks. People who are missing teeth often cannot eat the varied diet needed to provide a variety of nutrients. It’s part of the reason people who are missing teeth don’t live as long (on average) as people to keep their teeth for life.
We want you to have a healthy smile. We want you to live a long and healthy life.
It’s why we hope you will maintain a consistent daily oral hygiene routine of brushing and flossing. It’s also why we hope you will visit us regularly for professional cleanings, exams, and X-rays.
Managing the Cost
For as long as we have been open and operating, we have made our patients our first priority.
It’s why we have added new technology to our practice. It’s also why our doctors have made continuing education a standard part of what we do. We want to keep up with the latest techniques, so we can provide the best possible care that modern dentistry has to offer.
But we also know that many people wonder how they can pay for this care. That’s a reasonable and understandable concern.
To help, we offer a variety of payment options. If you have dental insurance, great, just be sure you take advantage of it. If you pay for it but never come to the dentist, it’s not really helping you.
We also accept cash, checks, and credit cards, and we work with third-party lenders to help you finance the cost of more expensive procedures.
Just remember that the preventive care covered with our in-house plan can save you from needing those more costly treatments down the road. With our dental savings plan, you get a cleaning every six months, a dental exam, X-rays, and one emergency exam per year.
If you do need something beyond the basics, you also qualify for a 10 percent discount on those services.
And if you have a history of periodontal disease, we offer an option of gum healthy maintenance program for a little more than our standard plan.
Your Smile Is Worth It
We hope you will have the foresight to make preventive dental care a habit. We would rather you do that than look back with hindsight after you’ve lost some teeth and realize you should have visited us a couple times per year.
