Wendy White can’t wait for her wedding day. She’ll be wearing her white wedding dress, and her husband, William Williams, will be waiting at the end of the aisle to welcome her.
She wants everything to go as well as anyone would wish on her special day.
She’s written her wedding vows, picked out her wedding dress, and even selected the wedding cake with the whipped icing for the reception.
With the wedding eight weeks away, she wants to change one more thing — her teeth. She wants them to be whiter for her husband and for her photos.
Where could she go? What can she do?
She can make an appointment to visit Atlanta West Dentistry in Marietta. While she’s there, she can have professional teeth whitening to give her what she wants on her wedding day.
▶︎ Are You Getting Ready For Your Big Day?
Wendy and William aren’t a real couple, but we know that millions of couples will be getting married this year. You might be one of them, and if you are, we wish you the best on your wedding day and every day that follows.
We also know that you want to look your absolute best on what will be one of the most important days of your life. You want your smile to shine when you pose for the hundreds of pictures that will be taken on your wedding day,
Years ago, those photos would have been kept in an album and only shared with a few family and friends. Today, pictures will be posted on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media … probably before you leave the ceremony and reception.
You want people to see how happy you are, and we want you to be proud of your smile.
▶︎ Teeth Affect Our Appearance
Teeth are important to a lot of people, and they may be more important than you realize to your romantic life.
In a survey conducted just a few years ago, respondents were asked their opinions about smiles. On a scale of 1-10, how important was an attractive smile (on average)? 9.33, according to the respondents.
Also, 62 percent of the respondents said that the first thing they notice about a potential partner is his or her smile. And 87.5 percent said that a smile was a person’s most important facial feature.
Bad breath was the most common turn-off, but yellow, crooked, or missing teeth was second on the list. Lastly, 69 percent of the people surveyed said that they have chosen not to date someone because of his or her teeth.
▶︎ Whiter Teeth Look Better
What have we learned? We know that people want to look their best.
We know that most people prefer that their partners have nice smiles. So, it’s reasonable to assume that this means people want their own smiles to look nice, too.
Yellow teeth can hurt the appearance of your smile, but a white smile helps you look younger, healthier, and more attractive.
If you think white teeth would improve your smile, then the staff at Atlanta West Dentistry can help with our professional teeth whitening.
▶︎ For Real Results, Go With Professional Products
With KöR Whitening, we can give you a dramatically whiter smile in just two weeks. KöR is the most powerful whitening product we offer, and you will see a big difference by the time you are finished.
You will start with an in-office treatment, which will take about 45 minutes to complete. Then, we will give you custom-made trays to wear overnight for a couple weeks.
You finish with one more in-office treatment. By then, you will see how much whiter your teeth can be.
For patients who would prefer a different option, we also offer two Opalescence products. Opalescence Boost is an in-office treatment that takes about an hour to work.
If you are more of a do-it-yourself kind of person, we have Opalescence Go, which is another take-home product. Opalescence Go comes with trays that have been pre-filled, so all you have to do is wear them for the recommended time. Plus, they come in flavors (like mint and peach) to make the process more comfortable.
We know you might be tempted to try commercial products, but you also may find you are disappointed when you are finished using them. If you really want a whiter smile, professional products are your best option.
▶︎ Be Happy With Your New Smile
At Atlanta West Dentistry, we love it when our patients smile. And whiter teeth makes (almost) everyone smile.
