For most people, wisdom teeth will begin to erupt in their late teens or early 20s.
As part of our family dentistry, we will scan for this in our teenage patients. We want to keep an eye on the third molars because, unfortunately, they can cause serious problems.
Many people don’t have enough room in their jaw for these teeth to erupt correctly. If we notice this could be an issue, we often recommend taking out those teeth before it becomes a bigger issue.
Dr. Lauren Bowersox explains the pain-free process we use for this procedure in the video below.
If you have teens at home, be sure to them to Atlanta West Dentistry for routine checkups. To schedule their next appointment at our Marietta, GA dental practice, start by filling out our online form or by calling 770-744-4619.
