Is professional teeth whitening different than commercial products?

The short answer is yes. Professional whitening products have a higher concentration of bleaching agents than the kinds of things you’ll find in stores. Professional care can work faster and remove deeper stains than commercial products, too. This can help you avoid problems that can occur from overuse.

Is Invisalign a good option for me?

Invisalign is a great option for most adults who want to straighten their teeth but don’t want to wear braces. Over the course of 12-18 months, you can transform your smile by straightening crooked teeth, closing gaps, and giving more space to crowded teeth. If Invisalign is not an option, we can help you find a better way to get the look you’re wanting.

Can oral surgery be covered by medical insurance?

Here at Atlanta West Dentistry, we provide a wide variety of services. We’re really proud of the accomplishments of our doctors and our staff as well. We’ve gone through extensive training to keep a lot of procedures in-office and not having to have patients referred out to other practices for these services. We offer things like anything from simple cleanings and fillings to clear braces, sedation dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and even oral surgery.

We try to work with patients. We think we have a wonderful staff. Our team is highly qualified, and we work with patients to help you get the care that you need.

First, you should know that you are not alone. Dental anxiety affects millions of people, but you can learn to manage and overcome your fears. The best way to do that is by visiting a dental practice, like Atlanta West Dentistry, where your comfort is a top priority.

Our office in Marietta, GA was designed with our patients in mind. We offer a number of comfort items like pillows and blankets, televisions in our patient rooms, and three types of dental sedation, including IV sedation.

Maybe most importantly, however, we listen to your concerns. We are willing and want to work with you to make your dental care as comfortable and relaxing as it can be.

How can I improve my smile?

You can take advantage of our cosmetic dentistry. With our wide range of services, you can give your teeth a touch-up or get a complete smile makeover. We offer in-office and take-home professional teeth whitening, Invisalign to straighten teeth, and gummy smile treatments. Dental veneers and tooth bonding can be used to fix a variety of issues. We also offer cold sore treatments and dermal fillers.

If you want the smile of your dreams, the first step can be scheduling a complimentary consultation with one of our doctors.

How much do dental implants costs?

A dental implant to replace a single tooth can range anywhere from $3,000 to $5,000, and so it comes with a wide range of fees. I would advise people who are looking for someone who would place an implant is, if you see an outrageously low fee, it’s important to ask the questions such as the experience of the clinician and how the process works. It’s important for the patients to understand what’s involved also in that fee. Whether there’s bone graphs and extractions involved in that fee, those are important questions to ask. I would encourage anyone who’s looking for someone or to have a dental implant placed to visit the office who you are looking at. Just so you can really get a chance to meet the doctor and understand their philosophy and how their system works.

Why is this the practice I should consider for dental implants?

For any person who’s looking around to find a dentist, the important things to ask are the experience of clinician and how does the process work in that specific office. It’s also important to understand that the clinician who would be potentially placing and/or restoring the implant, what is their education history. Because a lot of dentists who are passionate about dental implants, whether they be general dentist, periodontist, oral surgeons, have acquired postgraduate education in some degree. Personally, I was able to go through training at a residency in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2002, 2003, and that sorta set the stage for me in learning how to handle complex situations and be able to place and restore implants comfortably. It’s been 15 years, and I feel like … now that I’ve placed several hundred, I feel like I’m in the, we feel like we can efficiently help people through that process.
